To start the development process, N-iX Game & VR team had to come up with a game genre decision. We researched the Instant Game market and closely cooperated with SWAG to understand their preferences. In the end, our team came up with “Runner”, an endless runner game where the player had to collect coins and bonuses to score points. The game supported different characters and several game modes such as “Drone Hunt” in which a gamer needed to collect drones using a jet pack.
Our team used Playcanvas and Facebook API as leading technologies, characters were modelled and key-frame animated using an Autodesk Maya.
The platform choice posed lots of challenges before our team, forcing our artists to make the art style as simple as it can be.
